Before you start the next unit, have you:

  • felt the difference between allowing your jaw to drop open in a relaxed way to produce a sound (correct) and making it open (incorrect)?
  • identified (using a mirror) what shape your mouth should be, and the position of your tongue, when your mouth is open?
  • produced, at least some of the time, the same bright focused tone when your mouth is open as when you hum?
  • looked at possible lifestyle changes that will support your vocal health?
